JKS JSPEC suspension kit

Just curious - has anyone run the 3 inch JKS coils with a body lift and 33’s. I’m trying to determine if I want the 2 inch or 3 inch coils with my LJ and a 1 1/4 body lift. Thanks!

33x10.5x15 will works for me with the JKS 2” lift. Rims backspaced at 4.25” (1” spacer) on a 8” wide Factory Ravines will stuff with no body lift. 2” you may not have driveline issues but wont work with the 12.5 wide tire.

I installed the JKS 2 inch lift with 1.25 body lift. I am running 33x12.5x15 Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws on 15x8 wheels with 3.5 inch BS. The lift gained 3 1/4 in front, and 2 3/4 in rear over the stock measurements. Once I had it all dialed in and the "alignment" correct, I have had zero issues. No rubbing, factory steering stops. Can stuff the tires. Does really well offroad.

Actually, there are two issues I have... I forgot to adjust the TC linkage after the body lift, and the 3.07 axles need to be redone to either 4.11 or 4.56... Oh, and now with the tire poke, it's impossible to keep it clean...

Did you by chance trim up the factory fenders? I am limited in choices as the wife is bit shorter than I the leg but a little more gap in the fender area I think would look better on my set up.

No trimming. Now, that photo is with t body lift in as well, so you'd be 1.25 inches lower... if your wife has a difficult time getting in stock though, you may want to consider a step... M.O.R.E makes a simple spring operated retractable step...

Hey how did the 5000x 55239 & 241's work out on the jks 3' lift ?
and did you use a front spacer to level out the rake? TKS

The 241s were not the right size in the rear for the JKS 3" springs. The bias was off with too much uptravel and the ride was miserable. I switched them to the longer 55256 Ranchos but the ride was still miserably rough which have much better bias for the lift height. I have since swapped the rears for BlackMax B8528 and I've been happy with it, softer and comparable bias. I'm still running the 55239s in the front.

I did not add spacers to the front either, the rake is not visually something that I feel needs to be adjusted and adding them would put the shock bias further from 50/50.

Great to know. I'm refreshing my jks lift from 2" to 3' in September after 8yrs and I'm staying with jks coils. I've run the 2' jks shocks as well as the fox, jks turned ones so I thought I'd try something different. Ths for the heads up on the 241's on the 3' Coils

Front travel bias is ok. Rear will be uptravel biased with the shocks kinda short. Not a lot you can do with how close the stock mounts are in the back

Hey, do you plan to try the BlackMax shocks in the front or are you going to stick with the 5000x when it time? Tks
