Colorado Jeeptober 2025

JK's are no issue at all

If he is serious, then I would suggest going direct with @RMETeeJay to ensure he is going as well. That would have two jeeps in the mild trail run. You guys can decide on a trail if you are familiar with them If not, @BVJeep is the resident expert of all trails in BV and can point you in the right direction.

There are plenty on mild trails in our area. Let me compile a few

I'm having such FOMO! Only done Chinaman/Yansing/Chinasing once. You guys are going to have a good day

Agree, sounds like a great time, one I better miss though :ROFLMAO:.

I’d be game if you want to try and hit it up on Sunday, the 12th, if you’re free. Wouldn’t mind getting one more run in before I start tearing stuff apart again.

I might be down for that! I just got back in town and I'm flying out again Friday. Hit you up when I get back next week

I have a couple of ideas for the moderat run. My Antero is a beautiful high altitude trail that will go to 13,000ft or more. You will be able to see Pikes Peak, the Sangre De Christos to the south and even towards Taylor Park as long as we have a clear sky day. Off of that trail you have Baldwin lake and Browns lake. This is in the St Elmo area.

Another one is the Fourmile area. This is a great cruiser that can come back around by Chinamans and then Bald Mtn then to Ruby MTN and back to town.

There is one called Lost Canyon by Granite that goes up to 12,000 and will have great views towards Leadville.

Tincup to Taylor Park and back through Hancock pass is a long trip but there is a good chance of seeing Moose. You can run it either way. I like Hancock then Tincup. You can also go over Tincup and back through Cottonwood pass which is paved. This is a quicker route.

I've been through Tincup many times, on bikes and in Jeeps. Very cool. Beautiful out there.

Time for an update. The weather looks very promising for an October run!

Need to cleanup the following....
MILD RUN or Ride (IN?)
@RMETeeJay
@TRevs

Did you two decide if you're going to do a mild trail? If not, are you still planning on coming?
