Hi all, I’m looking for a new soft top for my 2005 Jeep tj unlimited(lj) I’ve been reading reviews about the best top twill ( mostly for the fact that the color won’t fade and will look newer for longer) and I’ve heard they are just as loud and also continue to have issues with leaks. I’m also looking at the sailcloth material and was wondering if people had person reviews with the tops they had bought for their lj! Thank you!!

I have had the sailcloth and had ZERO issues. I have also looked at the Twill and really want one. But the reviews I read tell me it's not worth the extra money. If it was me, I would get the sailcloth with the tramp stamp.

Got my 1st Wrangler LJ as a Retirement (toy) Reward just a few months ago. It had a hardtop mounted (a bonus) but no soft top. I'm on the hunt for a frameless LJ soft top.
I'm in no hurry as it is in the 20's around here right now.

Happy Holidays to all

I ended up with the MasterTop Twill frameless. Not disappointed. I'll have to matching soft doors installed this week for a full review of the experience.

Mastertop Skymaster

Edit: I take that back, I wish it had the rampage storage feature. Otherwise I love it.

I have the trektop slantback on my 06' LJ. No issues, and no leaks. I swap it out for the winters here in CT. Had it over 5 years now.
