My 98 TJ has recently been stalling when dropping gears. I’ve noticed that the revs would drop down to 0 when I go down gears, especially down to 2nd and 3rd and then would stall.
Ive started with the easier fixes first so I’ve replaced the oil pressure sensor, spark plugs and camshaft position sensor but they didn’t help at all.
It has also been backfiring quite a lot but I’m not sure if those could be linked or not.
Im still learning so any help with trying to figure out what is causing this would be amazing!
