I had a set of UCF 1/2 doors and the latches were crap, being sloppy and rattling. Also, the upper window mounts didn't fit right. I ended up selling them after one trail ride.

Trail doors don't need windows
No windows for 1/2 doors in my area will get you soaked. There's a saying here that if you don't like the weather in Virginia, just wait one day!
Nice for towing 17 hours and not having to haul an extra set of doors.

Half doors accept uppers, trail doors and safari doors do not. That is what makes them trail or safari doors.
He use the Bestop 1/2 door latches they use on their soft doors. (or did at one time) There might be a worse lower quality latch out there, but I've not found it yet. He was also warned to find something else because of how crappy they are.
