I have a 2002 tj I put a hard top on, my jeep did not have a hard top I would like to wire the wiper and the defrost any help would be appreciated.

If your use the search engine here you’ll find some guys who have done that but it is a known painstaking task- It can be done -the knowledge is out there

I have several hard tops and I have had hard tops with each rig used to different extents-

most people don’t go to the trouble to do the wire up because you can run the hard top just like you can run the soft top: without them-

The back windshield does not fog up or get dirty that bad and the wiper is rarely used.

In other words look into it but don’t stress if you can’t do it you’re not going to be in bad shape- I almost never use my rear wiper or defroster. Just wash the jeep occasionally.

I like to run my defroster when it's really cold out. I like to think it deflects the cold from coming in via the back window glass from the air touching it when cold

Did you look to see if it was by chance prewired for these items? I do not know which years these items were available but take a look. Typically, the wires are tucked up under the rail above the driver's side rear wheel well.
