Shot this from the TJ-

We parked at the entirely wrong spot , so we started driving out and had one of the best views as we wound our way topless out along Guntersville Lake.

We had way better weather today than expected, I played with the Jeep most all day, shot the potato gun some, and generally just hung close to home.

Sure glad for all we have here. Opportunity is everywhere, folks sometimes just don’t recognize it because it wears overalls and looks like work.

Happy 4th! That’s such a cool picture. It so hard to get a good photo of fireworks…

I did similar, hung out with a buddy of mine and played with the tj for a while. Had a way better time than expected. Watched the sun set and then had the absolute best view of the fireworks, we could see hundreds at once from the top of a short hike with 360 degree views. Perfect weather too. Spent 3 hours up at a the top sitting and watching. It’s quite different watching hundreds of fireworks so far away and in silence - oddly calming and peaceful.

The video doesn’t do any justice at all, but gives a bit of an idea of just how many fireworks we could see.

Happy Independence Day everyone!

Came through with all my fingers. A guy here was lighting quarter sticks of dynamite and one went off in his former hand.

I'm sure there was structural damage based on the fact the tourniquet minimized the blood loss to a half-pint to pint.

Lord bless. That kind of stuff is so dangerous.

It's not real dynamite. I think it's an M-1000 made with gunpowder. Still not something you want to be holding.

We had similar years back. Scary.

Kid in N. Carolina was in his bedroom....just playing with lighting it and did- then clasped it with his legs , panicked....lost a leg.
