I have never really been into pistols. I have been trapping wild hogs for years and many times I am alone. My family begged me to take some protection with me just in case. So I broke down and purchased a Sig scorpion 1911 a couple of years ago. I’m still more of a rifle and shotgun guy. Maybe someone should start a “ show your long guns” thread. Hahaha

I have two Sigs. A 45 and 556 caliber. The 556 has a folding stock but having it installed makes it a short barreled rifle requiring a different permit and I would never do that.
