Hi y'all, my old OEM full door seals were dry and flat so I threw them out without thinking. The Fairchild full door seal I bought for my driver's side door fits perfectly, but the passenger door was not thick enough and didn't seal up right. Returned it and got a replacement which had even poorer fit. I went and bought the APDTY seal that I saw some recommend on Amazon, but it has the exact same issue. Too thin and the corners don't seal up at the A pillar. I'm fed up at this point. Should have never thrown out the old seals and maybe just tried reconditioning them instead.

Anyone had any good luck lately with a full door seal?

Ok so here’s the deal. It seems like all these problematic seals are coming from the same factory. They ALL have orange clips. I have tried so far, Fairchild on Amazon, APDTY on Amazon, Dorman on Amazon and ExtremeTerrain.

All had orange clips, and the same exact issue with the A pillar corner not sealing correctly and letting in wind. I believe it is the same company manufacturing all of these. Another thing I noticed, compared to my good driver’s side seal, there is no inner channel.

Here is my good driver’s side seal, notice how deep the inner lip is.

Here is one of the passenger side seals with the orange clips:

Notice how the lip is extremely shallow. Has anyone bought a full door seal in the last couple months that does NOT have the orange clips, has the inner lip, and seals at the corner?

Here’s another picture of the good driver’s side seal:

Could your passenger side window frame be bent out just a bit? Happens. If so, it's not a big deal to bend it back in.

I considered that but it doesn't look like it is bent. I'll look again, but I'm 99% sure it is the seal itself because of how inconsistent the results have been with each one I've tried. The one I bought from APDTY leaked the worst. I could hear it whistle at any speed at all times on the freeway. The OPR one I bought from ExtremeTerrain seems to be the best as it seals most of the time, but again it whistles when there is a 10-15 mph headwind.

I can visually see deformities in all these seals too, so I really don't think it's my door.
