We have a bench flash option, I need to source the NGC3 plugs for it. We have that available for the JTEC vehicles.

Anything that needs retuned would be best to just grab a device, because retuning requires data....which is part of why we dont push bench flash tuning for anything other than simple combinations. It would also be more expensive after 2-3 revisions.

We are transitioning to RTD devices which will reduce cost further.

Thread necro...

Received an MPVI3 yesterday and did some reading up on how to get tunes from here to there. Could not find on the HPTuner website, but on the android play store they (HPTuners) have an app that will send and receive tuned/read/data between your MPVI3 and the folks doing your tune with a tablet or phone.

It will also allow you to read issue codes and such on your tablet/phone.

EDIT: Just got the reply, FRP does not utilize this system.

I know I'm new to this site but not new to jeeps.

I just bought a 03 TJ 4.0 manual....and I have already started buying parts. I will want to get my TJ tuned....my question is that I have many other vehicles that I want to tune as well. Looking for input.

I have a 2019 Mustang GT Premium Performance Pack 2, a 2022 Gladiator Rubicon Ecodiesel, she has a 2020 Miata RF GT and a 2016 Toyota 4Runner.

I am not used to tuning other than her old 2011 Mustang GT that I used a tuner and canned tunes on.

Should I look to a specific tunner that I can use on different platforms....I think HP can do that, but not sure.

Let me know if I am trying to make this too easy and it is much more complex or is this a possibility.

HPTuners is a great platform that can be used on a multitude of different vehicles / manufacturers.

Here is HPT's published list of supported vehicles, though it is sometimes a bit behind. You can find the most up to date information on their forums. Sometimes a PCM/ECU needs to be unlocked, so a bit of research about applicability is a good idea.

Flyin Ryan who started this thread has a great reputation. You can also tune or adjust a tune yourself with HPT through a laptop.

FRP has done all my tuning for me. And as others have said with the HPTuner you can tune multiple platforms with it.

WTF???? 7-800 HP from a 4.0? I'd need a huffer to get that from my Hemi..... And what axles are you putting behind all this?

Like the Power Commander tuner I had for my Harley one of the nice things about the HPTuner is that you an buy all the credits you want and the tuner itself isn't locked to one VIN.

Big (big) turbo, FI and accompanying parts. Newcomer got 1067 on 27 lbs of boost through a 650 cfm carb. At 5500 rpm IIRC. His previous runs in the same video went up to ~6500 rpm.
