Oil leak issue - Ok, now that the case of the missing torque wrench adjustment nut has been solved.

New oil leak from the front. Oil is pooling and dripping from the bottom of the crank pulley. Any suspects other than the front main? The valve cover gasket looks good and it’s been leaking hours after it last ran. Thanks!

Kinda hard to tell without pictures. I'd be looking at your PCV valve, it's odd that all of a sudden you'd be pissing out oil. When those plug up and can't vent excess crank pressure, your main seals become the unlucky winner of the path of least resistance.

Is it a 2.4? There have been issues in the past with that motor regarding the thrust bearing wearing prematurely and the crank can "walk" back and forth, pushing out the main seals. Not common, but it can happen.

Yeah, sorry but I can’t get any pictures other than drops forming on the bottom of the crank pulley. It’s a 4.0.

Interestingly, got it put back together and off jack stands. Parked it on the street with some drip pans last night. Expected to find them full but there was very little. Why would putting it on Jack stands cause the leak? Now a few months ago I had this thing on Jack stands for a week and no leak.

What oil are you using? I had a RMS leak, by advice of the group switched to high milage non synthetic and haven't had a problem since... been a couple years

UV dye is your friend ;)

It’s coming dripping pretty hot and heavy. Two videos:

These posted as pictures. Forums are picky with media. Post those on YouTube and then send the link here. Either way, if oil is coming out that fast all of a sudden, you need to look into your PCV system while replacing the seal(s). If the PCV system is clogged or stuck closed, this will keep happening even after the repair as the seals effectively become your PCV.

There's not a traditional PCV system on the 4.0. Orifice in the rear elbow, front elbow is straight through to air box. If rear is plugged, the pressure and oil will go out the front elbow into the airbox.
