Fog lights not working

My early model TJ does NOT have a multifunction switch.

Both fog lights stopped working. The switch on the dash appears to have power. The relay behind the glove box appears to be working and replacing with a new one does not fix the problem.

I used a test light at the fog light connector and found continuity on the positive end but nothing when trying the negative ground side. So there’s something up between the switch and the connector but not sure what to do next.

If someone can provide some feedback with pictures or a link to more information I would greatly appreciate it. Cheers

IF there is power at the fog light switch and its illuminated when you flip the switch; do you feel the fog light relay click ?
IF the relay clicks, but the fog lights do not illuminate I would check connectors 107 & 110 and splice 116; this will require you to trace the wiring.
Also couldn't hurt to look for oxidized or loose ground connections for the fog light circuit.

Going to sound dumb, but turn the switch on and beat the top of the steering column with your fist. If they come back on or go on and off the switch is bad.

When you say you have continuity on the positive side, do you mean that you have power? If not, continuity with what. Try measuring power between the two terminals in the connector. Turn lights on, see if you have power between the positive connector and the frame. If so, test from the positive terminal and the ground terminal. If you don't there, it's just a bad ground. Chase the ground wire to where it screws into the frame and clean it up.
If you DON'T have power at the positive terminal, THEN you need to start chasing wires.

fuse under the hood was the culprit. Changed it out and that did the trick

04 Lj foglight - under hood Fuse 19 and Relay 35, either of these will cause fog lamps not work (if wired correctly) I have an issue with my Fog lights, never worked since i bought my 04 LJ - After market KC lights with what appear to be correct pig tails to plug into factory fog lights. Replaced bulbs today, didnt fix. Popped hood and found no fuse in 19, pulled horn fuse(18) put in 19(fog) boom fog lights on WTF, KEYS ARE NOT IN IGNITION, lights are not swithed on, fog is not pulled out on head light switch, when i turn head lights/blinker on fogs go off(relay working) when switch is off or in running lights FOGS ON. What am I missing? As stated pull fuse, fog off from fuse to lights good. Problem at column switch possible short there? I will put fuse back in and pull connector off column controls, if fogs go off I would have to assume short at column switch.
UPDATE - Pulled column switch connector and fog lights went off, a short in the switch. 50 $ on amazon.
