Fog Light Switch?

Hi all, hoping someone can help me out with an electrical situation. My '02 Sport is wired for factory fog lights. I have the MFS with the fog symbol and pull feature, relay in the PDC, as well as the harness and pigtails under my fenders. I connected some LED light pods to use in place of factory fogs and nothing. I checked pigtail power with ignition and switch on and it reads .28V at both left and right. I pulled the relay and found that the no. 87 pin has no wire attached in the PDC. Reference Pic of the starter relay with all five connectors and fog relay with no center connector. Am I misunderstanding something?

The fog lights are connected via the normally closed contacts of the relay. The power goes from the headlamp switch, through those contacts to the fog lamps.

The relay is used to turn the fog lamps off when the high beam is on. When the high beam is activated the cluster activates the relay disconnecting the lights.

Because all of the power for the lights runs through the switch, the contacts in the switch can heat up, melting a bit of plastic in the switch and causing fog lamps to stay on.

Check voltage at the terminals of the relay with the fog lamps switched on. You should have 12V at the 30 terminal. If you have very low voltage there the switch may need checking for continuity across the fog lamp contacts.
