Just for peace of mind since this is my first regear. I feel good about this pattern but curious on others’ thoughts who have more experience. Backlash is 0.006. Pinion depth 0.035

28 is too shallow, 31 is runnable as is the 35 you posted. If you want to be 100%, run one at 33 and see. It is runnable as is though.
