I currently own a 2007 grand cherokee and am looking to buy a 02 TJ project vehicle...He is telling me it is clanking and said previous owner claimed the clanking started after the wreck...He was nice enough to send me a video of it running...what do you all think the clanking is coming from...his lean is the cylinder head...

when i first heard it that was the first thing i thought of but then start reading everywhere and worn rocker arm/push rods kept coming up...i need to see about any damage there

Here is an low hanging fruit diagnostic trick take the belt off and see if it is still making the noise if it not it is belt driven Accessory it is still making the noise it is in the engine
the video shows the extent of the damage at the 30 sec mark...not major damage
