So, rolled the Lj in Moab over the summer and luckily only real damage was to the hardtop.

One of the clamps that lock on to the windshield is busted as crap.

How can I go about fixing this or should I just go to a professional?

I know hardtops are expensive and I can’t afford to buy a new one.

A while back I repaired a pair of JK Freedom panels that had been in a bad accident. The mounting points for the rear props were completely broken away and lost (similar to how your clamp mounting point is broken away, although I think the damage to these panels is worse than the damage to your hardtop). In this photo the damaged panels are on the bottom and laying on top are two good panels to show what's missing.

I used the good panels as patterns and made molds of the missing sections. If where the clamp mounts on the other side of your hardtop is good, you can probably do the same - make a replacement piece using the other side as a pattern. The good panels were not harmed by this process.

The replacement sections popped out of the molds and laying next to the panels they'll be used to repair:

I've omitted a bunch of detail steps in this post, but hopefully you get the idea of how a replacement section could be made. The repaired panels:

Happy to explain more if you decide to do this repair yourself.
