Hello Everyone! Thanks For The Opportunity To Meet With Awesome TJ Owners! Look Foward To Getting To Know You All! Just bought my first 20001 jeep wrangler TJ . Took dash face off today to examine toggle switch running fan for heat and a/c. What a mess! I dont even know where to start to diagnose the mess i found! Hope you all can help me. Fan control switch fried, air selection seitch has been very hot where 3 wire come into back of it! Currently one speed on fan bypassing fan control totally. Thanks for any guidance you all can offer.

Yes everything appears to still be there.
Guess I’d start by replacing “fried” components and rewire it to factory condition.

Could go to a pull a part and grab all “new” parts which would show you how it all was supposed to be.

@Jerry Bransford may have schematics and the FSM to help you out since he seems to have everything TJ.

Thee are four wires that i think control current or fan speed need to know where to reconnect to new switch . 4 to five spades on back of switch? Which color goes to each spade . Thks
