I picked up a set of used doors to replace mine that had rust damage. 'New' doors are in good shape but the handles are trash and the handles on my original doors need it replacing too. (So I can't deal them over)

So I'm looking for feedback if the OEM ($195 each) are really any better than picking up a set from Crown ($23 ea).

There's a few posts about this but some seem to be dated so I'm looking for feedback on how well the Crown have held up for folks.

I like the idea of OEM but the cost is just crazy.... But I also don't want to buy new door handles every couple of years.

I am in the rust belt Northeast so that's a factor I'm curious about folks experience.

I could tear down and sandblast the OEM which I may do as storage stock but I need something that will work in the interim or long-term.

In your shoes with existing in handles hand, I'd take a swing on the crowns and if they're not up to par, go to work on your originals. Maybe strip them first rather than full sandblast. Alot of the Crown parts I've gotten have been good and I usually choose them over OMIX/ADA.
