Engine Mount Question

Was going over my Jeep today. when I saw part of my passenger side engine mount had a crack. it looks to me that the part that actually is used to mount the engine is underneath the cracked part and is separate. wondering if anyone can explain to me what the different parts of the engine mount do. i took a picture of the part that is cracked

An anchor set of two motor mounts and a transmission mount is like $25 on Rock Auto with another $10 in shipping.

It's pretty simple to swap out.

Depending on your build plans now's a good time to contemplate a motor mount lift.

the part of mine that is cracked is the arch that goes over the rest of it. i plan to replace it soon but is this something i can still drive on for a few more days before i can replace it?

Based on the rust in the crack, it's been broken for a while.
So, it might last forever...or not.
