eBay glovebox latch

My 1998 glovebox latch handle broke. I found one on eBay. It is in good shape but doesn't have a key. Since I have a key to my broken latch, and my key works, I think based on the forum that I can take my lock out. The question is, how do I take the lock out of the eBay latch without a key to insert? I want my old lock in the new latch. This has probably been done elsewhere but I couldn't find it. Can anyone possibly give me some insights?

I'd take it to a locksmith and they'll figure it out.
