Does this rubber bushing belong to my master cylinder?

I bench bled my master cylinder today. After buttoning it up I found this on the floor. I don’t recall it t being on the floor before I started the project and it looks like it would fit around the shaft of the master cylinder.

It’s about 1 1/4 in diameter and 1/4 thick. Unfortunately for me it looks like it would fit perfectly around the shifter of the master cylinder. I am hoping I am wrong to avoid having to take it back apart…

I tried googling images of the master cylinder to see if it belongs but my google-fu skills are weak tonight. Any one recognize it?

Par for the course this weekend. But the good news my brakes work. At least for now.
