Do I need a new radiator?

I ran low on coolant, and it damaged my radiator in a particular manner.

It has marred the rim that the radiator cap seals against. Is this repairable, or do I need to get a whole new radiator?

That looks sketchy. I'd probably put a new radiator in.

Rent a pressure tester kit and go from there.

Get a reputable radiator shop to check it out. I had my top tank replaced almost 2 years ago in Chattanooga and it's still going strong!!

Yeah, I used it to push debris out of the overflow port, and for the moment it was just left in there.
