What do you call the affliction whereby you can't leave a "project" alone? Once something is designated as a "project", modifications, fabrications, customization must happen? I used to think of myself as a tweaker, meaning I'm always tweaking something, but that handle has been stolen. I need a new label for myself.
I know I've got company here.

I don't know. I just love to have projects. Case in point. I bought a basket 1977 Yamaha XT500. It's still never had gas in the gas tank. I bought it just to work on, build the bike I would have like to have had in my dirt and street bike days. This was a fun project. Parts sourced from all over the world. Parts from all kinds of other bikes. Now it sits, wondering if I'll ever get back to it. Sure is pretty, though.
The jeep might tickle the same place, but I don't have the intention to non-op it like this bike.
