I was up under the Jeep checking on some stuff and I found a dangling connector right by the starter. It looks like something that should be connected to the starter. I link a video and a photo below. If anybody can tell me where this should go, I'd appreciate it.

It's a 2005 with a 4.0l engine.

For now. I zip tied it to a rubber hose to keep it from dangling. I can find another TJ with a 4.0l engine, I'll have a gander at what's there.

Thanks, y'all. I found this, so it'll help.

I have had a strange even happen three times in the last couple of weeks. All three times, on bumpy off-road, the motor just died. Didn't loose electricity (fan blower and radio kept working). I just slipped it into neutral and turned the key and she fired right back up.

Might this have been the cause?

Doubt it
