I got this used and refurbished it. I had planned to put it in my TJ, but I now plan to swap JK axles in which will require converting to JK steering also, so I have not run this myself.
When I received it the tie rod was bent; from what I have read, Currie designed them to bend so a big hit on a rock would not break something else in the front end. I bent it back with a hydraulic press, you can see it is near perfectly straight again.
All the parts were stripped, treated with POR-15 rust preventative coating, then painted. Tie rod end adjustment threads were coated with anti-seize. The dust boots on all the tie rod ends were replaced with brand new ones from Currie. They also got brand new zerk fittings and covers, and fresh grease.
It was missing the steering stabilizer bolt, so I purchased a new one from Curry as well. All the adjuster pinch bolts were replaced with new high-strength hardware. Also comes with new castle nuts and stainless cotter pins.
All the tie rod ends are tight. This whole kit looks and should perform just as good as new.
