After doing a few searches I didn't see anything on this...

My HVAC fan is squeaking but it's intermittent and seems to depend on whether or not I'm accelerating or decelerating. On setting 2 it squeaks while I'm stopped but as I accelerate it stops and when I'm at a constant speed it isn't squeaking. When I start to slow down it squeaks like crazy.

Anyone else had anything like this?

In looking at the manual it doesn't look like a difficult replacement but just wondering if it a quick fix otherwise.

Fan runs on all settings just fine. It does in more when heating than with AC but still does it.

The fan motor bushing/bearing is dry and the change in load on the fan blade makes the bushing/bearing squeal.
You could remove the fan motor and apply a couple drips of light weight oil to the bushing/bearing to test this theory,
While the oil will prolong the life of the bushing/bearing; more than likely the squealing will return in the future.
Probably a good idea to put an order in for a new fan motor before it stops working.

That's my theory as well.

I'm going to pull the fan tomorrow and see what I can see in there.
