This place looks fun, most dangerous "hotel" in the world

I've been there fishing before it was sold to private, not on it but around the tower. That place is well known and pretty popular with the day tip fishing fleet. Looks like you can book the place for $2,000 for a weekend + trip, which is probably about the same price as 3 days of offshore fishing. Obviously I'm thinking fishing, so I'd need to take some gear if I sayed. Shooting skeet from there would be pretty fun too. https://fptower.org/eco-tourism-adventure-weekend-calendar/

That's cool, I didn't know how much of it was geared towards YouTube.

I just read what's included with a stay, and it really seem pretty reasonable.

I haven't kept up with it much, but I remember the guy who bought it struggled with it the first few years. That thing requires constant maintenance and they had major rust repair to fix early on. It's pretty cool. Looks like he/they finally figured out how to do something with it. I should consider taking a visit someday since it's so close to where we stay when at the beach.

There's also a German sub nearby, well closer to Morehead City, that I've been wanting to dive on for years.

If you make it out there, report back with the review. Seems reasonable if the flight is included.

I doubt it's this year, but I will if I do. That info says they depart from Southport, so I'm guessing it's a boat ride provided by them since I don't know of any helio sites there. There is small airport probably 5 miles west (Oak Island), but a boat ride should only be 1-2 hours depending on conditions. Lots of good warm water trolling ground between Southport and the tower for those of us who like fishing.

Hilariously funny - but I'd think that they would all be required to have similar sized trailers. "Dan Green" got away with a lot because he had a tiny trailer, not much bigger than my little utility trailer.

I couldn't stop laughing. Especially when some of them kept going around the track with a few scraps hanging off the ball, and the guy with the boat and trailer lost his boat like in the first minute.
