Camping in a TJ

I not too worried that it will go missing. I just lock it. More worried that my generator is going to go missing so I cable it to the trailer.
40+ years of camping and the only things that went missing were beers from my cooler once or twice.
It takes me maybe 20 minutes to set everything up. Most of my camping stuff goes in plastic totes which fit under the trailer. Clothes , chairs, popup canopy, trashcan, pan for grey water, collapsible table and cooler travel in the trailer. 10 gal of gas on the front. Tools, recovery gear, generator, water and miscellaneous gear travel in the back of my LJ. I’ve been on enough trips the last 2 yrs I’ve had it that I have everything dialed in. Only upgrade will be a portable commode though it has not been an issue so far.

Yep,I despise a thief.

If they want it they will take it. I have a RV storage lot down the road from mine that a family friend owns. Security gates with codes and cameras everywhere. Earlier this year some guy piggybacked in behind a tenant with his Uhaul truck. He hooked up an $80K trailer and pulled off. Gates would not open without the code. He drove around trying to get out with no success. Decided to just ram the gate and got away. No one knew anything was going on until the gate crash noise alerted the office staff. All of this was caught on high def video. Even had close up of the guy. Long gone before the Sheriff arrived. Found the Uhaul that the guy rented under a fake name. 6+ months latter the $80K trailer and the thief are yet to be found.
