I had heard rumors of a nicely machined cam bolt eliminator washer, which fit into the horizontal slot on the factory front lower control arms, but I couldn't find such a beast. So being in a hurry to leave on a trip I bought these crappy Teraflex 951700 cam bolt eliminating washers. I couldn't find any accurate specs on their size, but dropped 'em in my amazon cart, and moved on with my day. Well, they didn't fit TJ control arms, and they're not much thicker than a standard washer, so don't buy them for your TJ. I'm assuming they're meant for JK's or some other late model instagram mini van.
Instead I ended up making my own. 1/4" plate for 9/16" bolt. This is a pretty darn basic CNC plasma job, and it's unlikely anyone that owns a CNC plasma needs a file for these... but you never know, maybe you're in a hurry like I was. so here it is. Enjoy.

I've also included a few photos of the teraflex and factory washer for reference.

Just read your post...in picture 4 you show washer placed in wrong location? Shouldn't it go up and down instead of across like you show? in order to fit into adjuster slot.

The terraflex washers were 1 3/16 x 1 5/8
The gap to fill was about a heavy 1 1/2. So they were either 1/8th to wide. Or 5/16 too narrow.
Could I have “made them work” ?absolutely. I could have ground them down or had 5/16th of slop. Either would probably be fine. But they were no thicker than a standard hardware store washer, so not special in any way.

The right way IMO is the machined piece above. The next best choice is what I did, a properly fitting thicker washer to account for the horizontal slot from the factory.

Edit: fixed math

The 3/16 wouldn't have made a difference.

So yep.
