Build Planning

I’m not reading what anyone else suggested before making this post. I know you like to tinker and build. Taking that into consideration, and the fact you have an attachment to the TJR, my suggestion is to go ahead with the TT. Wheel that for awhile. That will scratch your itch. If you start itching again, push it to 35’s going the full highline route with 2” lift.

option 2: move west! Away from mud!
I have a line on a tummy tuck from UCF. That is happening in the next couple months, regardless.

I'd actually love to move West, but it's just not in the cards right now. Colorado would be my 1st choice, but I like Austin, Tx quite a bit. I've heard good things about Utah and Idaho too.

I have a buddy in Round Rock. I've spent some time with him. Austin is a cool city, and this last time we kinda went around and explored a little. I really liked it. We explored McKinney state park and did a Zip line tour at Lost Pines. I really think I'd like Hill Country. Plus, the weather...Oh how I'd like to be in a warmer climate. Or at least somewhere with more sun. We have LOTS of water here...which I love, but it also makes for strange weather patterns. Lots of cloud cover in the winter and crazy weather all around. There is a saying in West Michigan, "If you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes." It seriously changes that fast.

Problem is that my Wife's Family is not able to travel, and I'm in Manufacturing...mfg is SO centric to the midwest. Not saying I couldn't find a mfg job somewhere else, but they are fewer and further between.

It would definitely be warmer! 😅 So far we’re loving the PNW. Four seasons is amazing. Winters aren’t bad, it’s beautiful right now, 60’s, warming up!

Looking forward to seeing your build outpace mine. Just remember, a few guys on here couldn’t leave well enough alone and ruined their Jeep.
