Just wanted to introduce myself to the group! I'm just getting back into the 4X4 lifestyle after 8 years out. My 98 TJ Sport is already thanking me. Bought her new off the lot and 6 years ago we were expecting our 2nd 'real' child...then the tranny blew. She sat helpless for 6 years until 2 weeks ago.

18 years ago I made her a show Jeep...Stainless hinges, bumpers etc.. came in the factory Deep Amethyst Purple. After sitting the paint is crap, so I'm Raptor lining inside and out. I've always run AT 35" tires, but since it's now a weekend rig I'm going to MT's. I'm in GA, so my 8 and 5 year old are gonna have a blast! That's pretty much why she's being resurrected...weekend trips with the family.

I've got a 3" body and 3.5" Tera flex lift with the old school Ranch 9k shocks.

I did my first attempt at the Raptor Liner last night...and so far it looks incredible. I'm tinting it grey for the inside and red on the outside, with black hinges and trim...Go Dawgs...or Gunners (English Football).

Anyways. I've enjoyed lurking here for the last few weeks. Glad to be apart of a good community.

Damn, your TJ sat for 6 years? Wow, that's crazy! However, having two young girls, I know how it goes when kids become priorities and hobbies take the back seat, so I completely get it.

I'd love to see some photos of it when you get a chance!

Yep...work in progress. The liner looks good so far. New tires are getting put on Monday...when. I get the interior back together

I ran out of daylight and did the second coat by work lights...smh...it was funny. Neighbor came over with a bottle of wine and I told him I needed something a little harder

I was about to ask about the fenders! Looks like it's coming along quite nicely.
