A friend of mine decided to sell his '73 Commando he built as his trail rig. I have ridden with this Jeep multiple times and it always does really well. So when I found out he was selling it I jumped on it. Drove all the way to Maryland with the tow rig last weekend to pick it up.

Very, very cool. What’s in it?

Rebuilt 304 V8, Th400, Dana 20 with twin sticks
Cut down Dodge Dana 44 front with lunchbox locker
Scout Dana 44 rear with spool

It was initially built for the Jeepster-Commando 50th anniversary celebration in Moab in 2017. Hasn't changed much since then

Got to LOVE the TSL tires on it... IRocks or SX for the win....

OK you say another so this would imply you already have one & this is #2? Or is this meaning you used to have one and now you have another one?

Either way COOL rig & Congrats.

I was not very impressed with the Iroks, but the TSL SX works fantastic on the trails here in the SouthEast.

I have another 73 Commando with a 304V8. Stock, body is pretty rusty. But it's all there. It's now the parts donor for this one

Up here in the PNW sipped IRocks work great in the snow.... But yes I've ran both and liked how the TSL SX tires worked here too even in the snow.

A SX @ about 3-4 PSI in the snow.

Trying them out in Moab & again running about 3 PSI in them. These were Hummvee dual beadlock rims

Congrats on the new rig.
