Today I start driving and within a minute the CEL came on blinking. I immediately stopped, waited for a few minutes, then I started the engine again and this time there was no CEL. Drove home, connected the OBD2 reader and it said “no codes”. Any suggestions of what this could mean? Thanks in advance.

You're probably going to either have a code reader that can read live data...or just drive it until it actually throws a code.

The flashing light indicates the PCM seems a problem...but it's intermittent enough not to trigger the light.

I thought flashing indicated a real problem, like the kind you shouldn't ignore. But I don't know that I can corroborate that claim.

Usually you are about to throw a po 301-306 code from stuttering at start up due to heat soak.

Flashing CEL means that unburned fuel is being fed to a catalytic converter. A plug isn't firing letting fuel get by. If it persists it can be Bad. As in a Cat on Fire Bad. But until you can read a code to find which cylinder/s are doing it, you can't do much except check your plugs and test your injectors.

Again. Crankshaft position sensor. They have been occasionally known to flash a CEL when sending a faulty signal.
