These do not include the frame and hardware. If you already have a sunrider frame, would the top material care if it is folded back? I guess I have not messed with the sunrider frame and top and the non sunrider frame and top enough to know if there was a difference in top material.

Looking at the Quadratec customer service Q&A it says it will work with the Sunrider frame.

This is what they told me


You can use 11132-0835 with your factory hardware (i.e. reuse the frame, bows, rails) for a conventional top replacement. That is its intended use. However, the kit seems not to be designed for a Sunrider / flip‑back header. It likely lacks the specific cut, hinge alignment, or reinforcement needed to preserve that feature.

So I guess get the top and lose the sun rider or go after the oem top I found still

That is frustrating there is differing opinions from the same seller. Have you reached out to Bestop and asked them?

I never noticed a difference between the two styles of tops I have. I'll look again and see if there is anything to jump out why this wouldn't work. My two frames are different, I guess I never noticed a difference in the fabric.

I just want to retain the sunrider feature . So it seems like lose it 340 or get the oem top from mopar for 1000. I’ve tried to chat with Bestop there is no one right now. I’m going to call them after work

If you have an LJ, the all came with the sunrider feature. Seeing as how people have modified tj frames that didn’t have sunrider, to have it with factory tops, you will be fine.
