Replaced the two year old InstaTrunk with a larger security enclosure. It's in near perfect condition. A few minor scratches.

Added a footman's loop in the front middle of the trunk top to aid with securing cargo. Took it off temporarily but will reinstall it if wanted...

Two nutserts installed on the passenger side used for mounting a second fire extinguisher for camp kitchen duty.

It does come apart for shipping and though I would prefer a local sale, I am not opposed to packing it up to ship at the buyers expense.

I just wanted to add this is a very fair price. It's in great condition. And these are invaluable to anyone with a Jeep.

Even if you have a hard top. But even moreso if you have a soft top. With a soft top or with your top off in the summer. There is no place to leave anything safely in your Jeep.

And your just inviting someone to simply knife slice your soft top to get inside. Which is why I never locked my doors with the soft top up. Or someone will simply slice the top open.

Further, the glove box and center console are both plastic. And can be broken open with a simple screwdriver in about 2 seconds flat. I never locked my center console either. And it would get ransacked about once every several months. All the paper and junk from it would be thrown about the passenger seat. After a thief opened the unlocked doors, then opened the unlocked console, only to find junk they didn't need. I'd put it all back. Thankful they hadn't sliced my top to get in or screwdrivers the plastic center console.

I had an instatrunk, metal tuffy security glove box and an under seat lock box in my TJ. Not a huge amount of space. But plenty to keep emergency supplies and various other off-road or daily items you might need to keep in your Jeep.

But the instatrunk was the best of the three. It has a surprising amount of space inside. And uses the tailgate as the 4th wall for the instatrunk. It's a really functional design. It uses every bit of space behind the back seat.

If you buy this you won't regret it.

I’ve been happy with the same model that’s more beat up than this one.

This is a deal.

I had one of these in every Wrangler I own. I used to carry a thousands of dollars of photog gear with peace of mind. I am have always been soft top only.

Like @Moab I never lock the doors. Glove box and center console are empty of anything valuable. Head unit is a piece of shit and the face plate is removable and typically stored in a Tuffy under-seat lock box.

I have an LED light strip wired under the enclosure and controlled by a pin switch at the tailgate. The footman loop secured an LED light on the underside and cargo on the top side.

It does come apart for shipping and though I would prefer a local sale, I am not opposed to packing it up to ship at the buyers expense. Edited my post to include this.

I load camping gear the TJ fairly regularly and lift stuff over the InstaTrunk. Surprised it isn't more beat up than it is. I would have painted it if it looked like shit.
