Thanks to this awesome forum, I diagnosed the lack of my horn not working to the clock spring, I decided to remove the steering wheel and noticed someone had already attempted to remove it some time in the past, bolt holes already stripped out. Does anyone have any recommendations? Can I use something like this instead?

What i did for my jeep is that I just put my hands in the 9&3 o'clock position and put force on either side and keep on rocking until it came off,Used my deadblow hammer cause after 2 minutes of going ham I got tired and finished the Job with the deadblow😅 A couple whacks is all it took....

Once you disconnect the negative terminal from the battery, there are a couple screws on the back of the wheel to remove the airbag. With that out of the way, remove the nut in the center, (as opposed to the nut holding the wheel), and usually beating on the back of the wheel will remove it. I've pulled a couple this way, no puller required.

Or tap them or drill and tap them to a larger size.

I could also see me doing something with a rachet strap to the roll bar.
