Looking for some suggestions on the best double adjustable short control arms with removable joints for a tj on a 4inch lift. Its trail use only and gets wheeled hard. Looking for something Durable don't care about ride quality.

Like the look of the savvy ones but not confident the Johnny joints will hold up also the johny joints irritate me as I can never get them to take grease through the zerks.

Most here would recommend savvy or rock jock arms that use the Johny joints. I’ve had mine on for 4 years, 50k miles in snow, mud, rain, and moon dust. None are worn yet.
The second popular one are the metal cloak arms with their joint. If I recall a few members here have tried them in hopes for a better experience when in wet muddy climates where the clay mud would absorb the oils from the Johny joints. I don’t recall their experience but I’ll be interested in them chiming in.

Savvy. Love em.

When you understand how the joints work you know which joint is best and why.

After seeing how Metalcloak bushings tear apart from those that regularly use their available shock travel, nothing else about them would convince me they were a good product. They already do not prevent grit and grime from getting between the housing and bearing surface. They solve no problems.

Genright Techtalk covered rebuilding Johnny joints this past week. He said that if you can't get grease into a new joint, remove the zerk, use a small bit and drill through the poly bushing until you contact the steel ball, replace the zerk and grease.
