2005 jeep tj, 140k miles 4 inch lift, 35s, sye installed. I had a transfer case leak from the rear drive shaft seal show up about 5k miles ago and I just added till I could get to it. I finally pulled the seal and found that there was an uneven groove warn on the piece that slides into the seal. I put it all back together and had someone idle it while I took a vid. It seems to have a wobble like something is bent. The shaft has no play at all in it. I’ll attach the video. What’s my best corse of action and how might this have happened?

You saying the Yoke into the T case has runout causing a groove in one side only of the yoke? Sounds like the yoke is machined/splined off center possibly. China bomb parts?

Entirely possible the rear case part for the SYE is cast slightly off.

I'd suggest reassembly with fresh sealant and use the yoke to center the back SYE case before torquing down.
