Bartact woes

never thought I’d see the immigration crisis get solved in a thread about bartact seat covers.

Hopefully both problems will get solved in November............... or the illegals will get jobs at Bartact customer service. 🇺🇸:unsure:

Wish I had seen this post earlier... I ordered a replacement seat cover back in June. A week later when I asked for an ETA, I was told 2-3 weeks. Kept getting the same response every few weeks when I'd ask for an update. One reply was that they had to order equipment to start laminating the materials in-house... which would add to the delays.

Anyway, a week ago, after a month of them not responding to my emails, I tell them I'm done waiting(5 months is long enough) and that they need to issue me a refund. Finally get a response, blaming other people in the organization for mismanagement, etc. I was shocked at how unprofessional the manager was in his honesty/blame of someone else in their organization.

Today I receive my refund... minus the taxes I paid. So I guess their accounting department is just as bad as the customer service.
 
I also have a problem with Bartact. Ordered Front & Rear seat covers August 3 2024. Charged my credit card $806.06 on that date. They say on the web site that they are moving to a new location. I called them twice getting a automated voice saying the move is complete in September... Left message, Sept & Oct, asking what is going on with my order, please call me and fill me in on the status of the seat covers. They never called me back and it is 3 months now with no contact from them at all. Their e mail account is something I don't use, won't let me add a account, so I can't send them a email... which they probably wouldn't answer anyway. I don't want to leave a message threatening to lawyer up and make a call to the Better Business Bureau. Just want the seat covers and don't want to start no crap but I'm kind of starting to get pissed. Knew I would have to wait for the covers but 3 months without any contact saying something like "would have to wait longer". I wonder if I got ripped off.

I'm perfect willing to work with people/companies - BUT - Goddess help you if you stonewall me. I'll descend on you like a ton of broken bricks.
 
My experience with Bartact has been quite good. Ordered a full set of Tactical seat covers, front and rear, over two years ago. The drivers bottom cover started to open at one of the seams. I am sure I aggravated it because I lean right on the offending seam when I climb in. It took just one call to Bartact... they requested a picture of the problem area which I sent while I was on the call with them. Less than five minutes on hold (that alone is unheard of these days) and I was told.. no worries, a new seat cover is going to be sent to you. About two weeks later I had the replacement in my hands.
 
Sad too. I just bought a JKUR and would have loved to get a set of tactical seat covers, but I’m not giving them more money.
 
Ordered a set of seat covers from them in May of this year and had them on the jeep a week later.

Quality is just as good as the ones i ordered for my JK a few years back.

Maybe i just got lucky but i have no complaints and plan on ordering the rear covers soon.

Called Bartact today and got someone to answer the phone. The guy who answered was as nice as can be. Checked on my order and told me the front seat covers are done and the rear seat panels are cut out and are in the process of getting sewed up. He said he will check for a ETA and give me a call. Said it was "hectic" setting up the new area of manufacturing. Almost seems like they read the WRANGLER Jeep TJ forum.

i’d dispute the charge on your credit card. most cards will work with you up to six months. after that your screwed. i’m the op of this thread and service was outstanding when i bought seat covers. not so much when i ordered the matching console lid cover. hopefully you can get some act right out of bartact.
