Axle bearing and seals

Stupid question... Chatgpt got me second guessing... to start i have a 2005 LJ, I ordered a new set of crown bearings/seals for my rear axle (dana 44) off extremeterrain and I wanted to make sure I got the right ones so I asked chatgpt and its telling me these are the bearings for a dana 35... my bearings say timken u399 on the inner ring. Are these the right ones?

SET10 bearings and the seals are 9912S. Summit is a good place to get them from.

My sister text me yesterday asking about a hand full of parts her car needed according to Google AI and I had to explain to her that she was wasting money and how to correctly diagnose the issue. Blows my mind how people are relying on AI so much as of late.

I have found Google AI to be wrong quite often in many different areas. Scary to think about since it's so easy to rely on and think even less for yourself now.

Yeah AI definitely isn't correct all the time , to be clear I didn't use it to diagnose anything, or what part to order

It appears to be the correct bearing. Do you have the retainer and seal to go with it? I promise you if you cheap out on a seal you will regret it. You want the 9912S. that has a double rib.

Can't be the same for both since the 35 uses a Torrington roller style and the 44 uses a cup and cone tapered roller bearing. The 35 is a c-clip retained at the spider gears and the axle slides through the bearing with the bearing journal machined onto the shaft. The 44 has an external retainer that preloads the seal and bearing assembly against a pressed on shaft collar that retains the shaft.

Yeah I have the seal and retainer too. Not sure if its the 9912S
