So I have my '04 TJ and '00 XJ. Both are coil rail motors, with no A/C. The TJ has the newer style automatic belt tensioner and the XJ has the older style tensioner. I am looking to convert the XJ to the auto style tensioner. Aside from the alternator/tensioner bracket, and P/S pump bracket, has anyone done this, and is it as simple as acquiring the pulleys and such and bolting right on? Is the alternator wire and plug long enough to reach its new location?

I don't think you have the right holes in the block...but I don't know for certain. XJ is an earlier block with mostly SAE holes, 04 is almost all metric.
