My dad retired from the Navy after 26 years spring 1978. Two months later the folks picked me up from school parking lot when it let out for the summer in our 1975 Chevy crew cab and camper. We spent entire summer cris-crossing the states. I was let out in the same parking lot the day school started. Some of my best memories are waking up in the cab over already underway in the early mornings. Listening to the AM radio just watching the road unwind and the passing scenery. Or perusing the KOA guide book looking for the ones with a pool along the route. LOL
Damn good times.

I’m good… already had my pup for 5 years, no kids and no air fryer. Only invested in parts for the jeep and the now crazy gas prices.

We got this guy. 95+lb Golden. "Marty" aka Martimus. When everything started locking down last year, the Mrs. put down the deposit on him. He was one of the last 2 from his litter and we picked him up Easter weekend. He was the biggest of the bunch by far. He's been good for our aging cattle dog who has since been rejuvenated with a new playmate. Also picked up the boat behind him and a few other toys... Money's been cheap over the last 18 months...

Same! At peak spring prices to boot!

And I put a down payment on a pup, but he hasn't been born yet so I haven't technically bought one this year yet

My wife bought an air fryer that was just a glass bowl and two thousand watt lightbulb with a fan next to. Supposedly it was “more efficient” than our gas oven lol. You could feel radiant heat on your skin the second you walked into the kitchen.

Golden Retrievers are great dogs! I've had two of them and currently have this Golden Doodle (75% golden retriever, 25% standard poodle). People think he's a Pyrenees. He's huge, 115 lbs. Great dog, but sheading is a nightmare.
