Anybody up for a random meme dump?

So if cursive is no longer used, when these young punks sign their name to a legal document, do they use block letters? I’m thinking cursive with its unique look is part of your identity?

That is exactly what they do. My oldest son wasn't taught cursive. His signature is block letters & still looks like he is in elementary school. (He's 27.)

They check the box that says "By checking this box you agree that you have read and signed this document and also checked the box"

Isn't that how a lot of names changed spelling? The first time the person had to sign their name was Ellis Island.

My wife's great grandfateher changed his name on the boat ride over because everyone had the last name of Jorgenson or Stephenson.

So anyone in the US with the name he created shows up in one small group of people.

True story-

At work one morning, after our safety briefing, we all sat around BSing. iPhone was on the table in front of me.
We were all just cutting it up, talking smack.
All at once, the iPhone says "That's not very nice!"
Everyone in the room heard it, shut up, and stared at the phone.

No idea what was said or why it chose to respond, but it freaked everyone out.

Anyone else ever have an experience like that or an explanation of what happened?

I sort of learned cursive, but was never good at it. You should see my signature, it's different every time🤣

I have had a paycheck written by me to me (my company) get questioned at the bank. They had to pull out the signature card to check and that was not much help...lol Eventually a teller walked by that knew me and said it was OK.
