It was a number of years back, and I forget some of the details. Moralists from the "Party of Jesus" were trying to legislate "morality" relative to "Community Standards", whatever the Hell that's supposed to mean. It may have meant that porn was legal in some places, but not others - not sure, no longer remember. Basically, things were illegal if a majority ("Moral Majority"?) of your neighbors didn't like it.
