Seems like a good deal....but am I the only one who thinks "Pumpkin Center" sounds like the village name from some kid's program? No disrespect to the residents of Pumpkin Center intended. :D

Well , if that wasn't weird enough , Pumpkin Center Fire Department had BLUE fire engines and trucks . Oh well , to each his own .

I have a mint 65K 2013 F150 FX4 sport package Ive had since new that I wanna get rid of after 12 years and get myself a classic pickup with a beast NA V8 like that. I dont want all this high tech 3.5L V6 with turbos. I want simple grunt

Mind if I ask whose built OD trans you put behind that??
I had a Stage 2 700R4 many years ago in my racing 2nd gen camaro

I've owned a '71 Suburban 1/2-ton 2wd with a 402/T400 combination, a '72 Chevy 3/4-ton 2wd with a 350/T400 setup, and a '67 1/2-ton 2wd with a 327-4bbl, and a truck 4-speed. They're nice rigs, with the 'Burb being my favorite of the three, by far. I've also owned a '56 F100 project truck with a tilt frontend, set-up for a SBF, but sold it before installing an engine, and a '65 F100 with a straight six in it (223?). Oh, and I can't forget my '67 Dodge D300 with a 9' bed, and running a fresh 383 with a truck 4-speed. Awesome truck! And a Toyota extra-cab 4X4 I bought new in 1990. But far and away my favorite pickups are my two 1st Gen Cummins diesel Dodges. Love the looks, the simplicity, and the downright ruggedness. Pushing 430,000 miles now on my '90. Hard not to appreciate that. ;)

I haven't had a desire to own a new pickup since considering a Dodge Cummins in '94. That feeling passed when I realized I liked the square bodies, better. Not a single new rig has tempted me since. The more shit they add to 'em, the less I like 'em. If I wanted luxury, I'd by a '67 Cadillac. ;)

Hopefully with modern axles and drive train . M-37's looked so cool , until you drove one off road . The let down was very real.

Bit of buckboard, eh? They do look cool, that one almost looks like it's sporting sand paddles.
