So I measured the ax15 and nsg, within 1/8” overall. If I turn the shifter input around, and a little torch bending and it will fit about perfect.

Oh and overall length I measured from the snout of the input shaft.

2006 build date, I am going to disassemble the shift tower and see how it likes my torch. Should be a perfect fit with some heat.

He is trying to solve the shifter location. In 05-06, they are in different locations which is why the center console changed along with the screw tower or tab under the shifter bezel. The console has a mounting tab that a screw goes through into the tower mount. It is in different locations between 05-06 and 97-04. We always just used the AX floor plate and earlier front half of the console.

I may have a solution, need to get the ax shift tower apart and see it my measurements are close.
