So just got out of winter and didn’t notice that my ac isn’t working. The compressor isn’t kicking on, the weird thing is the horn isn’t working either now. Those two relays are right next to each other, I can do stuff myself with the help of YouTube but hard diagnosing things. Any ideas where to start?

The first thing to check would be the fuses related to the A/C and horn. If there's a blown fuse, it could be causing both issues. Refer to your owner's manual for the fuse box diagram and inspect the relevant fuses.

Since you mentioned the relays are next to each other, it's worth checking both of them. You can try swapping the A/C relay with another relay of the same type in the fuse box to see if that resolves the issue temporarily.

Look for any obvious wiring issues, such as frayed or disconnected wires near the relays or the components themselves. Sometimes, rodents can cause damage by chewing on wires.

Make sure that the ground connections for both the horn and A/C system are secure and corrosion-free. Poor ground connections can cause erratic behavior.

You can try to manually activate the A/C compressor by applying 12V directly to the clutch to see if it engages. This might help identify if the compressor itself is faulty.

For the horn, you can use a multimeter to check for power at the horn when the horn button is pressed. If there is voltage there and the horn doesn’t work, the horn itself might be bad.
