Hi all,
My 2004 with a 42RLE four-speed automatic transmission is having some problems. My transmission lines rusted out and I had them replaced with some from SS Tubes in Ohio. (

The fittings blew out while driving home on day two. My shop says the aftermarket fittings are different than the OE ac/delco lines and they would blow out too. What would be a reasonable fix?

Looks like the kit I put on my 05 LJ. The flex lines were to long and I had to get them to custom make somewhat correct ones. Where did they blow out at? the trans or radiator? or flex line to hard line?

Blew out for sure at the transmission. A fellow Jeeper towed me to the shop…. Shop says the aftermarket fittings are slightly different and probably junk.

I never had any problems with mine @1000 mile and about 2yrs. Just a possibility they might not have been seated all the way.
