Okay so I need some help please. So for the I’d say past 50k miles my 4.0 has had a slight tap nothing crazy but loud enough to be noticeable it never got any worse nore gave me any issues this entire time. With that being said I went to crank it this evening and the noise was very much apparent and much louder so much as to say a slight knock at this point appears to being coming from bottom end but with that being said the new much louder “knock/tap” don’t seem to get any louder nor change tone while reving the engine or wt higher rpms. Any ideas?
