So I bought a 2005 Unlimited Rubicon about a year ago. I put on a 3.5 Metalcloak short arm lift along with a 1 inch BL/MML so I can do a tummy tuck in the next year.

It has 33 inch tires but I decided I wanted to go to 35 inch tires. I have all the suspension upgrades done and I will do the brakes and gears before the changeover.

I need to increase the lift around an 1/2 to 1 inch to handle the 35s. What do you think it the best way to go? Put in new 4-4.5 inch springs or just go with some coil spacers?

Well in my mind if you want to do it right the best way to do it is new shocks and springs.

Even if you get coil spring spacers you’ll still need new shocks. Might as well just do new springs while you’re in there.

Agree with this. If you already have a 1" BL, I wouldn't do spacers.

Thanks for the replies.

Going from a 3.5 to 4.5 inch spring is there anything besides springs and shocks that I would need to change?

I already have front and rear adjustable track bars, adjustable control arms and I have replaced the front and rear driveshafts.

Is there anything else that I am not thinking about?

Moving from 33’s to 35’s you should think about brakes, steering, and gears.
